Position Summary
The Aftermarket Sales Rep will effectively drive all retail efforts in Parts while assisting Service to maximize profitability. Key personal qualities include confidence, competitiveness, driven to succeed, strong communication skills, and be a team player. Critical decision-making skills are also necessary for this position and a desire to constantly learn and improve to strive towards excellence. A strong work ethic, moral standards with a high level of professionalism, and pride in the quality of work performed will lead to success for this individual. Building customer relationships and satisfaction in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives.

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $38,000-$70,000

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide value to our customers and cultivate positive relationships by selling Parts and Service solutions that meet their specific needs
  • Support all product lines carried by the organization
  • Market all Parts and Service promotions of the organization to increase customer participation and achieve desired goals
  • Grow store sales through increased business with existing customers, new customers and owners of competitive equipment
  • Promptly follows up with customers and delivers sound advice to help their organization
  • Fill out call reports for each customer visit using the CRM application in PFW
  • Communicate customer concerns to the appropriate department manager at the location when needed
  • Profile customer’s fleet of equipment and updates in PFW
  • Participates in customer clinics and provides limited technical support where applicable
  • Provide backup support on the front counter during planting and harvest as needed
  • Deliver parts to the customer during regular customer visits
  • Other duties or projects as assigned by Management

Experience, Education, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Must be a self-starter that independently maintains a high level of motivation with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of database software, online parts books, etc. and ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts
  • Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment and dealership operations
  • 3+ years of Sales experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
